PocketBridge

Apple Health, connected to your tools.

A personal API.
In your pocket.

Ask better questions of the health data you already have. PocketBridge builds a read-only bridge from your iPhone to your personal AI tools.

A clear route to your records

Live when your phone can answer.
Honest when it can’t.

1

Read from the source

With PocketBridge active and your iPhone unlocked, tools can request supported Apple Health records directly. Collection isn’t required.

2

Use a saved copy

If the source can’t answer, a completed local snapshot can provide an older copy. Its source and collection time travel with the result.

3

Reach your server

Optional uploaded records can stay available while the phone is away. An older copy is reported as an older copy.

You choose the connection

Your records.
Your reader.

Choose what PocketBridge can read in Apple Health, then pair your MCP client with a short-lived, single-use code generated in the app.

Set up your connection
Read-only by design
PocketBridge reads HealthKit. It doesn’t write or delete your original Health records.
Explicit sharing
Collection and upload are separate actions. Pairing a tool doesn’t start a bulk upload.
Limits you can see
Runtime type support, record source, collection time and incomplete results are explicit. Public HealthKit access does not mean every Health app screen is available.
Foreground live access
Keep the app open and the phone unlocked for direct reads. iOS can suspend the app in the background.

Connect to your personal server

One bridge. A familiar address.

Have the PocketBridge prototype installed on your iPhone? Open it with this server selected, connect the phone, then generate a reader code.

Continue on iPhone

The link opens the installed app at Connect. It won’t request Health permissions or start collection.

Open PocketBridge

No app installed? This is currently a developer-installed prototype, not an App Store release.

For your MCP client

Use the endpoint below with the reader credential issued after pairing. Never share a device token.
